We base our buying and selling
decisions on Technical Analysis
only. It is important to factor in fundamentals
also, but good
fundamentals are NOT required for a stock to make
solid moves
higher. The hold or sell strategy simply changes
based on
whether the fundamentals support elevated share
prices.
Technical
Analysis is the only TRUE way to determine the actual
buying and selling interest (supply and demand), and to
help identify smart entries and exits on stocks
based solely on what the
charts and primary technical
indicators are telling us. We
measure price and volume action, Stochastics, RSI,
MACD,
and other technical indicators to pinpoint our entries and
exits.
Stocks are ALWAYS
in 1 of 3 phases, they are either in a
BULLISH UPTREND phase, they are in a BEARISH DOWNTREND
phase, or they are TRENDING FLAT (for now). We
simply identify
the phase we are in and act accordingly. We buy
pullbacks and
sell moves up in bullish moves, and short moves up and
cover pullbacks in bearish phases. Those that trade flat for the
most part
are excellent low risk candidates for multi-day or
multi-week swings.
We focus on
long-term investments also, but only if they set up
and confirm based on longer term technical analysis.
